Overview of Licensing PoliciesIf you've been investigating the purchase of a serious content management system you've probably found out by now that CMS pricing and licensing is often complicated (to say the least). We've tried to keep our licensing policies as simple yet relevant as possible. However since the cm3 product range meets a fairly diverse range of needs, there is also a range of combinations when it comes to choosing the right licences. Here's an overview of our approach to licensing: The following components of cm3 are each licensed or purchased separately:
In general cm3 products and modules will be licensed in one of the four following ways:
Note that not all modules are compatible with all versions of cm3, either for technical reasons or licensing reasons. For instance cm3 Active does not support most of the additional modules on the technical front. cm3 Professional does not support the full functionality of the Internet Module Pack, and it cannot be licensed under a server or organisation licence. You should be able to find the info you need about each specific product in the products area and/or the licensing FAQ's.
