Index and Search
Multiple search methodologies are provided. The criteria based macro language system offers field-level logic - it's ideal for catalogue-like searches and category or criteria matching. The external web index and search module offers dynamically ranked, full text searching of web pages. All searches are sensitive to user permissions.
The in-built search system is used within the web based management interface to allow content managers quick access to content that they wish to find and modify. This same search system can easily be deployed among the templates of your "front end" website. Generating criteria based or metadata based search forms is a native part of the cm3 macro language. Search results can easily be laid out by the web designer using cm3’s templates.

A powerful external index and search module (based on the Swish search engine) is provided for crawling large websites. The indexing agent will crawl through the cm3 website at scheduled times, creating an index for optimised searching. The search tool supports advanced search term relevancy matching and is fully sensitive to cm3's group permissions structures.
