Familiarity with online management systems is an advantage at the outset, but not required – most basic computer users will learn to use the system very quickly based on the simple tutorials provided. For WYSIWYG content editing, a general familiarity with MS Word style content editing is desirable. No HTML, programming, or advanced developer technical skills will be required to operate your websites. Basic to advanced HTML skills are a benefit to content editors who wish to manually create complex page layouts. A full content editor’s manual is provided. AdministratorsAdministrators and publishers who may be managing secure access to the system, sending email newsletters, or performing more complex management functions will require a slightly deeper familiarity with the cm3 interface. A basic understanding of web based management systems coupled with a short training session about cm3 and access to the administrator’s manual is all that is required as a starting point. No HTML, programming, or advanced developer technical skills will be required to operate your driven websites. A full administrator’s manual is provided. DevelopersThis system has been built for use by amateur developers right through to advanced developers. Even amateur developers can create complex dynamic systems with no programming at all. Alternatively if your developers are advanced, the integration of the page templating system with ASP and ASP.net means they are free to write as much code as they wish. A full developer’s manual is provided.
